I participated in a green beauty swap hosted by NatuRia Beauty. Here are the goodies my swap partner, Sophia sent me!
GRESSA Lip Boost in Lavish
Gressa is a higher end brand that I've seen around but haven't looked into much. I usually don't buy lip products in pots, but I'm happy to have this and experiment with it. I recently got a sample of an rms lip2cheek too, so if I grow to like these, I might become a convert!
Vegan, cruelty-free
BELLAPIERRE Shimmer Powder in Harmony
I've never heard of bellapierre, but this eyeshadow is gorgeous and very pigmented! However, I'm disappointed to see this "may contain carmine." I hate when companies don't specify!
Cruelty-free
MORROCCO METHOD Blood of the Dragon Styling Gel
Morrocco Method is new to me too. Not sure if I'll use this gel (maybe I should take this as an opportunity to get a mohawk haha), but Sophia loves their haircare, so I'll keep that in mind for the future.
Vegan, cruelty-free
BURT'S BEES Lip Balm in Pink Grapefruit
Oh, Burt's Bees, how you haunt me. I hate Burt's Bees for multiple reasons (I briefly mentioned why when I hauled a Sierra Bees balm, here) and I'm trying to finish up two of their lip balms right now. I appreciate that this was given to me though, so I'll add this to the pile.
Cruelty-free
*My notes above aren't meant to be rude. I just wanna let you know that my standards haven't changed and that I will still be avoiding carmine, lanolin, and bee products in my purchases.
Swatches of Gressa Lip Boost in Lavish & Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in Harmony |
Swapping was super fun and I hope to swap with more bloggers in the future. Sophia hasn't posted what I sent her, but if you're curious, some of the things I included were the Zuzu Luxe liquid eyeliner in Raven and a Deep Steep body lotion. Thanks Sophia for swapping with me :)
