Review: Acure Moroccan Argan Stem Cell + Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner
This haircare duo may be tied with the Brightening Scrub as Acure's most buzzed about product. I happen to like it too.
-Vegan, cruelty-free
-paraben free, sulfate free, silicone free, phthalate free, synthetic fragrance free

Acure Moroccan Argan Stem Cell + Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner
For: Normal/Dry/Damaged/Curly Hair
(There's also a clarifying line and a volumizing line)
Price: $9.99
In-stores: Target, Whole Foods
Online: Acureorganics.com, Vitacost, iHerb, Pharmaca
**Tip: It's currently $5.99 at iHerb and I got mine for $5.50 when Pharmaca was having a sale.
I was using Desert Essence's haircare but I think Acure surpasses them both ingredients wise and performance wise. DE uses synthetic fragrance and sodium coco-sulfate (I'm not an ingredient expert but from what I've read this is similar to SLS) so I feel better about using Acure. Plus, it's around the same price if you hunt for deals!
Both the shampoo and conditioner smell like cherries/almond extract.
I have thick, dyed, dry hair. Acure's shampoo cleans my hair without drying it out and I love how the conditioner makes my hair feel nourished without weighing it down. I can see how this would be light enough to use on normal hair because it's not too heavy.
Personally, Acure's hair mask works more magic for my hair, but I like the shampoo/conditioner for everyday use and I think it can suit many people.
I recommend it! :)
